Reporting to the Pharmacy Manager you will be working as either a trainee dispensing assistant or dispenser at our community pharmacy located in Dalkeith, Mid Lothian. Your role will require you to give advice on the sale of medicines and assist with dispensing duties. Being primarily customer facing you possess a natural ability to provide friendly and courteous customer service. You are an excellent communicator and build long-term customer relations whilst maintaining high standards. You will be an integral part of the team contributing to the consistent delivery of the highest quality pharmaceutical care to the communities we serve.
To Be Successful
You have a minimum of one years’ experience working as a dispenser or technician and hold an NVQ/SVQ 2 or NVQ/SVQ 3 or equivalent qualification in dispensing. You will also need to have completed a Medicines Counter Assistant (NVQ2) qualification or equivalent. However, if you have not previously completed this, you will be supported to complete the training within 6 months of joining the company.
