Our Currie pharmacy has re-opened its doors on 28th November 2017, following a substantial upgrade of its services and facilities.
The pharmacy, which has operated in Currie for many years offers a wealth of new and improved facilities designed to undertake the expanding role carried out by local pharmacies in the provision of community based health services.
The new pharmacy has been fully modernised, more substantially equipped, accessible and has a wheelchair friendly consultation room.
The extended dispensary has new improved layouts to manage the growing volume of prescription numbers due to expanding communities. The pharmacy also benefits from new fixtures and improved layout of retail space making it easier for customers to access services.
Currently the pharmacy offers a wide range of services including flu vaccinations, treatment of minor ailments and help to stop smoking. We will be extending these services in future to include travel vaccination clinics, anti-malarial medication advice, blood pressure testing and advice.
