Reporting to the Managing Director and Deputy Superintendent Pharmacist we are seeking to recruit two Pharmacy Area Managers to coach, train and develop our Pharmacy Managers and their teams to deliver the highest quality pharmaceutical care to the communities they serve.
This is a unique and exciting role that combines pharmacy practice with multi-site field-based management. With responsibility for up to eight pharmacies, you will spend 3 days per week working in various branches across your area alongside the teams you manage. The remaining 2 days will be field based activities co-ordinating, monitoring and developing the individual pharmacy businesses. You will also be given the opportunity to participate in a wide range of business development initiatives.
To be Successful
You are a commercially aware GPhC registered Pharmacist or Technician with a minimum of 5 years’ pharmacy management experience, with evidence of consistent delivery of key business metrics and can demonstrate how you have impacted on the performance of the businesses and the teams you have managed.
With excellent communication skills, you have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service to both internal and external stakeholders. You have experience in managing, coaching and developing teams and always lead by example.
Previous multi-site, field-based or operational management experience in pharmacy is essential.
